Nice work if you can get it. Not tidy. Not easy. Not even necessarily rewarding, but nice. I like the puzzle of putting together materials each week, semester, year and then seeing just how much of the spaghetti sticks. Things get particularly interesting if I manage by some miracle to fully present when things start slithering down the wall they've been thrown at. Wrong has often been the gateway to the sublime. I have been privileged to survive more than a few such moments in the two-decade-and-counting span of my teaching career. this blog is a place to capture memories, gather inspiration and share the wealth of what my students have and continue to teach me in and around the classrooms of our lives.
